- Background check -- a standard background review is conducted on all sponsors (guarantors) of the loan
- Real estate experience -- we look favorably on borrowers with a track record of managing or investing in rental properties
- Entity structure -- blanket loans are made to corporate entities (LLC or corporation). Single property DSCR programs may also close in an individual borrower's name
- Net worth and liquidity -- while not income-based, some baseline financial capacity is reviewed
